How to Link OpenTable and Distil

Sign-in to OpenTable Guest Center. 

Using the top left button to slide out the menu, navigate to the Integrations section.

Under Data and Analytics navigate to the Distil.ai tile. 

Click the tile to open the Distil.ai Integrations page. 

Click the Get Started button. 

This will take you to the Distil AI create account page.

Name and Website
Complete your restaurant groups name and website.

Email
Enter your own email address. Do not enter a company or shared email. This will be used to create a user account for you to access the system. Additional users can be added later.

Country and Currency
If your group spans multiple countries and currencies, choose the one principal to yourself.

Distil AI is designed to match the Group Structure in OpenTable. Ensuring this is setup correctly is part of Distil AI Onboarding. 

We will work with you to ensure this structure is correct, or configure Distil accordingly if this is not possible.

Make a note of your password and press Next when you’re ready.

Please be patient while Distil AI provisions your account and the services needed. 

This may take a few minutes.

Once your account has been created you will be asked to connect Distil AI and OpenTable. 

This enables Distil AI to access your Restaurant Reservation History.

Distil Diagnostics does not modify any data in your OpenTable account. 

You can disconnect Distil AI at any time via the 'Manage Integration' option within OpenTable. 

Press Authorise to continue. 

You will be taken back to the OpenTable Guest Center to confirm the Integration.

Restaurants eligible for the integration will be shown. 

These sites will be available to be onboarded automatically to Distil AI.

The sites you wish to include/exclude will be selected during Onboarding.

Restaurants not eligible will also be listed at the bottom of the list. 

There are a number of reasons why restaurants may not be eligible. I.e. Group Membership, Permission Levels, etc.

We will work with you and your OpenTable account manager to resolve any issues.

When you are happy, check the box and press Agree. 

The sign-in page can also be accessed directly at data.distil.ai. 

Useful if you’d like to create a bookmark or toolbar button in your browser. 

When you first sign-in to Distil, you see the Welcome Screen.

Seeing this screen means that all setup sets have been successfully completed.

If you have an onboarding call booked, you can close your browser, there are no further steps.

If you have yet to book your onboarding call with Distil AI, please use the Book Onboarding Call button to schedule it.
