The forecast timeframe in Distil Diagnostics has been extended from 5 weeks to a full 12 months in advance. In addition, actual and forecast data is now available historically as far back as the age of the account.
This improvement gives far greater visibility of historical performance and future forecasts. Users can confidently review historical trends, seasonal patterns and assess impact over meaningful time horizons, reducing reliance on weekly snapshots.
Forecast performance up to 52 weeks ahead
Forecast data is now available up to 52 weeks into the future, by or cumulatively for the entire year. Users can jump directly to a specific week or 5-week range using a new calendar picker.
The 5-week diagnostic window is now presented as a scrollable ribbon, enabling week-by-week navigation into the past. Navigation is bounded by clear minimum and maximum dates, with arrows disabled when those limits are reached.
The Cumulative Full Year chart has also been improved to give a more accurate mid-month view. Forecasts now run from the start of the current month, while actuals grow progressively toward month-end. This removes misleading gaps and makes trends easier to trust throughout the month.
Historical actual data now visible as far back as the account age
Historical performance can also be reviewed by individual or multiple weeks, as far back as account data allows using the same navigation controls as historical data: the scrollable ribbon and calendar picker.
Actual data now appears in the cumulative and daily charts for time periods in the past. Where actual performance exceeded the forecast, it’s highlighted in the daily bar chart and hover over pop-up.
This extended view supports teams when reviewing recent or annual trends, performance against Expectations and changes in the upcoming Forecasts.
