In this latest release, users will see updates to key tasks and views in Distil Diagnostics and the Single Guest Profile that make both products easier to use and the data clearer to see.
New in the Distil Single Guest Profile
Truncation of long email addresses
Email addresses exceeding approximately 35 characters are now truncated with an ellipsis (...). This ensures the locked email column remains tidy and table layouts stay consistent.
The same CSS styling has been applied across all columns to maintain a uniform and structured appearance throughout the data sets.
Segment description hover over
Segment descriptions are now available as tooltips on the Segment Summary page.
Hovering over a segment name displays its description in a consistent, middle-aligned format. Longer descriptions expand vertically, allowing full visibility without disrupting the page layout.
Simplified Dotdigital data push configuration
The Dotdigital setup process has been streamlined by removing redundant data location options. The following options have been removed:
- Insight Data Connection
- Both Customer Data and Insight Data Collection
Insight data is still sent to Dotdigital if customers require it, however it is handled separately.
The mapping stage has also been eliminated. The system now defaults to Customer Data Fields, reducing setup complexity and ensuring a more efficient configuration process.
Role terminology update
The user role previously labelled Disabled has been renamed to Deactivated. This update improves terminology clarity and provides more accurate labelling within the user interface.
Demographic data visibility update
Demographic data has been removed from the Data tabs in the UI. This ensures that only relevant and appropriate information is displayed to all clients, supporting data privacy and simplifying the interface for both existing and new organisations.
New in Distil Diagnostics
Monitor List visual enhancements
The Monitor List page has been visually refined - the Distil loading spinner is now fully visible while data loads, creating a cleaner and more polished experience.
A white background is now used as the primary page colour, ensuring a consistent layout even when only a small number of monitors are displayed.
Removal of Forecast vs Expectations trend indicator
The trend indicator showing the Forecast vs Expectations percentage change has been removed from the Monitor Details page.
This change prevents confusion caused by displaying similar-looking trend indicators that represent different metrics. The removed indicator measured a different value from the Change in Forecast displayed on the Monitor List page.
